Dick Olij: trumpet and vocals In his early years in jazz, Dick used to play in Dixieland bands. Lately, he has been inspired by the New Orleans Jazz. He admires famous New Orleans musicians as Dede Pierce and Kid Thomas Valentine. Dick is member of the band since 1997.

 

Ton Nas: clarinet and tenor-sax Ton is a great admirer of the New Orleans legend George Lewis. He is one of the few clarinettists in Holland with a real New Orleans sound. Through the years, Ton has contributed a lot to the popularity of the band. He is one of the members who are with the band from the start in 1992.

 

Roeland Kolkmeijer: banjo Roeland plays banjo with the Four Stream New Orleans Jazzband from the start of the band in 1992. He plays with a steady beat and contributes a lot to the real New Orleans swing of the band.

 

Hugo Jungen: piano and bandleader He is the founder of the Four Stream New Orleans Jazzband and has transformed the band into a New Orleans Revival Jazzband. Hugo has listened to jazzmusic since he was 15 years old and discovered the jazz of Jelly Roll Morten. In later years he has been caught by the New Orleans jazz of George Lewis, Kid Howard, Kid Thomas.

 

Peter Anders: bass About Peter there’s lot to tell. He played with the Maryland Jazzland of Colgone from 1980 till 1990 and he has played with a great number of New Orleans legends on tour in Europe.Peter plays the bass in a very authentic and powerful way, which gives the the band an extraordinary drive. He plays with the Four Stream New Orleans Jazzband since 2003 and he has given the band as a big boost in playing New Orleans Jazz.

 

Jan Lebesque: trombone Jan is an experienced musician and has played in different New Orleans jazzbands. He has listened a lot to the music of great trombone players as Kid Ory, Jim Robinson en Louis Nelson, but Jan plays his one style in which he prefers to contribute to the band as a whole, rather than do a lot of solo playing. Among that, he is a great singer, which contributes a lot to the New Orleans sound of the band.  He joined the band in 2004 and he is enjoys playing with the band very much.

 

Ton Kolkman: drums Plays New Orleans Jazz since the early Seventies. In his first years in jazz he played with the well known LaVida Jazzband and further on with the Second Line Jazzband of the late Tom Bade. He has been inspired by drummers as Cie Frazier en Sammy Penn. He plays with the Four Stream already since 1998
